I was given the generic version of Keflex after having surgery to remove an oily cyst. I took the medicine for two days and then suddenly developed a urinary problem that I couldn't go and finally I could go but it was very weak stream and painful. This continued for 4 days (weekend) and I visited my Urologist who suspected prostate enlargement problems. He scheduled me for a scope procedure ... Show Full Comment

I have been prescribed this medication many times for tooth absesses or infections and it is the only one that cures my problem. Regular penicillin drugs never helped me at all. This also unlike the penicillin drugs will not give you a yeast infection and I never had any side effects.
