I have been on this drug for almost 10 years. I have tried to withdraw two times with lower dosage, did not work. I didn't realize I had anymore pills and I have no money for a refill. Then I started to realize I was feeling like I did the other two times I tried to withdraw. I do have insurance. I am slightly light headed and I can cry at the drop of a hat. I found this drug not to be helpful ... Show Full Comment

Paxil is the only medication that worked to lift my severe, recurrent depression. It also helps with my anxiety and PTSD. I had a dry mouth at first but that has stopped. Before Paxil: dread, extreme anxiety, unable to concentrate to the extent of walking away mid-conversation, crying episodes, sleep insomnia, constant desire to cut. During Paxil: good (feels like someone tickles your brain!) Withdrawal: buzzing head, unable to stop crying, unable to sleep. (I drove to a quiet place in order to not wake up my neighbor, parked, cried a lot. Police noticed my car. ... Show Full Comment

    Comment:
Paxil worked great once it was in my system. Helped stop anxiety and depression and put me on the path back to normal lifestyle. Down side of Paxil - the length of time it took to get off of them (1.5 years) reducing my intake. Went off them for two days and had buzzing in my head, went back on then reduced dosage to get off. Great you tube vids on this. Wish I knew it was so addictive when ... Show Full Comment
