I have taken paxil for 7 years (30 mg). While I was on it, I felt great. When I decided to quit, my doctor told me to wean myself off over a 2 week period. I actually took more (1 month) and thought I was doing fine. The torture started 2 weeks after being completely off. I have been on this medication for years...at this point, I guess it works, hahaha! I do have issues when I have tried to go off of it, but I would rather be on it, and happy, than off of it and miserable.
