I have used this drug for a couple of years and I have not had any unpleasant symptoms. The only thing I do not like is the taste of the pill. It did do exactly what it was supposed to do. My cholesterol is now 160.

Started swelling about 4 months after first dose , pain in joints, could not sleep tingling in fingers at night, broke out in a rash and hives. Had to stop and start treatment for the hives and itching. I would not recommend this medicine.
