this medication gave me diabetes which my Doctor said it could do AFTER the fact. Im statin intolerant but he wanted to try the last one. I still have the initial issue but also get diabetes and the needed meds as an add on. What fun - NOT

I began having swelling of hands and feet, pain in my joints. I thought I had injured my back and went for x rays. No problems found. I had serious pain in my back,legs, feet. I went for a follow up with my cardiologist. She wanted to give me a water pill for swelling. I told her I was not taking another pill for a problem another pill was causing. 10mg dropped my total cholesterol levels from 260 to 164 in 6 weeks. It's literally a life saver. No side effects whatsoever.

This drug has given me joint pain and muscle aches from the start. I have fibeomyalgia and it gets it to really acting up. Feels like I"m burning up from the inside out. Not for me. Going to change it soon as I can took lipito also does the same thing.
