I too suffered a severe analyphactic reaction during sentinel node biopsy while under anesthesia. Surgeon still thinks it could be the anesthesia. I can read and suspect it is a classic case of this. I was not informed of this risk and agree there must be some test to determine potential allergy before this must occur.

Comment:
Sentinal node biop due to melanoma. With in seconds of injection went into anphelactic shock and respratory arrest. Advised by physician never take again I would not survive the next time. I would suggest a alergy test to this drug first.
