Take it at night before going to bed, by morning I can go to the toilet with no problems. Sometimes I get minimal cramps and a little weakness, but it passes in few minutes. Highly recommended. The only one that works with no side-effects.

I am a male in my early 80's. Over the years I have had bouts with constipation. About 6 years ago , after trying many drugs I started using senna and have been well satisfied. I take 2 8mg pills twice a day and have 2 or 3 good bowel movements every morning. My stools tend to be loose and movements are very easy.

I am a throat cancer patient and must consume all food water meds through a G-tube. Use this periodically if I have gone more than 2 days w/o relief. Takes 24 to 48 hours to really kick in but does so gradually and gently w/ no side eddects.
