I too have had reasonably good results with Premarin cream, but as others have noted, I've had 4 tubes in a row, from two different pharmacies, that had significant air bubbles. This means the tube was never full, and I routinely get between half and two-thirds the doses I should be getting. I too have had reasonably good results with Premarin cream, but as others have noted, I've had 4 tubes in a row, from two different pharmacies, that had significant air bubbles. This means the tube was never full, and I routinely get between half and two-thirds the doses I should be getting. I've filled the applicator a bit less than the 1 gram mark, then unscrew it, use the end of the applicator (there's space at the bottom from where it was threaded onto the tube) to wipe off the excess that keeps squirting out, then quickly cap it off to stop the flow. I've found that this way I can truly getting just 1 gram per dose, but still run out way early. It looks like I have half a tube left, then you hit the air gap and--poof--you're down to one or two more doses and have to scramble to get your insurance to pony up for another tube before it's due to be refilled. I'd like to see other people who've encountered this problem, posting it here. I'm also going to contact Wyeth directly. It may not get me anywhere, but if enough people complain, maybe they will address the problem. It's a good product, but too expensive to be shorted by so much each time.

Life saving product! I'm still able to be sexually active thanks to this cream. I insert it twice a week, and it keeps my vaginal area moist and "ready" to go. No need for messy lubricants. I did report the problem by phone twice and was not successful in communicating with anyone. Follow-up letters came, but the wording of them indicated they thought I was reporting something wrong with the cream itself, not just the packing of it. I'm glad for this opportunity to comment since a complaint to the manufacturer yielded no results.

I agree with one of the 1st reviews regarding the cream very hard to control coming out of the tube, wasting a lot! And also agree that it is way too expensive, especially when you are losing so much trying to recap it. I think the product works, so worth it if you want to still have sexual relations without extreme pain. It is making me wish there was a generic, it is very cost prohibitive.
