this medicine has an awful taste. after three days i started vomiting right after taking the drug and it got so bad i started bringing up blood so i had to be taken off. what could of caused this?

Used this medication before but this time I have had serious stomach issues, dizziness, bloat and nausea...particularily after having a cocktail at a Christmas party. Didn't know that was an issue until I reviewed drug on Webmd...very dizzy, nauseated and not pleased! still have vaginosis

This medicine is hard to swallow. It gets stuck in my throat and leaves an awful chalky taste in my mouth. Since starting this drug I have had a yeast infection, which has since cleared up, and heartburn. I have also experienced sleeplessness.

When the doctor first prescribed the medicine, she warned me that I would not be able to drink alcohol while on it. That was fine. When I picked it up from the pharmacy, though, the pharmacist told me of the multiple other side effects it had. It was absolutely disgusting to take. It was very powdery and tasted horrible. The medicine is horrible, tastes bad and makes you feel very sick. Can not drink any alcohol while taking this medicine because it is a antibuse drug. I have had this bacteria off and on for over 7 years and I am getting very tired of taking the same medicine to just have to take again.
