Gradually experienced joint and muscle paint. Could not stand the join pain and saw my doctor who recommended I stop taking Crestor to see if pain stops. After 2 days of not taking this statin I pleased to say its 80% improved. This statin may work for some but not for me.

Have been on generic form of Crestor for a week and half and had to stop due to constant muscle pain in my legs. Same side effect occured a few years back when I tried a different statin.

I have tolerated crestor really well. I'm sorry for all the people who have had bad experiences. That is truly awful. I have been very fortunate in my experience. My cardiologist prescribed this at 40mg/day due to high cholesterol and high lipoprotein-a. I plan to continue taking it at his direction indefinitely as this is really the only thing that can be done for my condition that hasn't
