I was so misirable,then i was dioagnosed with a urinary tract infection,they gave me a strong antibotic(bactrim) and this purple pill calledphenazopyridine 200mg.3xs a day. It took affect that same day the cramping, discomfort in urgency and all around hurting was subsided.The med really worked good for me.Evelyn

This drug helped the burning and pain. help me actually go pee. but still had to go every 30 mins or so but maybe thats because they say drink lots of water and i did. Plus make me so sleepy almost high and loopy. Made my body itchy too.
