    Was diagnosed with BV in 2011. NEVER had this disorder in my entire life. I was used to yeast infections, what woman isn't? My obgyn at the time informed me it was due to not having sex for a lengthy period of time and being menopausal (resisted the urge to be sexually active for 3 years after my divorce).     I have had BV for such a long time I can't remember not having the symptoms. Finally I sucked it up and went to the gyno for the first time. First I used the metro pills and after the usual yeast infection the BV came back. Then I used this gel for 5 days, and later the BV came back. Again I used a different pill and still it came back.     My medical assistand prescribed this medication for me. My diagnosis was found through the papsmear. I did read the side effects on the medication but wish I was told about them previously. After 5 days on the medication I am not sure how I feel. Ive had headaches, cramps, and nausea. Also, now when try to hAve sex, I can feel I have a yeast infection.     I'm experiencing serve headaches, burning after using the gel, no discharge or vomiting. it's very easy to use this only draw back is the serve headache that doesn't go away.

    I had a hysterectomy on 3-4-15.. went for checkup on 3-22-15.. had BV.. dr prescribed gel.. took it everything was fine.. Then I noticed a slight discharge. I thought it was a yeast infection because antibiotics can give you one. went to dr on 4-14-15 low and behold BV again.. she said my Ph balance could be off because of surgery..
