Opthamologist won't prescribe anything else despite this medication not working after more then a year of use as directed. It is also expensive.

The drug is effective but a miniscule tube cost $200. Tobramycin and dexamethasone are both inexpensive drugs. There's no excuse for this.

2 1/2+ year old granddaughter had an inflamation on edge of eyelid (may have been a sty). Applied ointment with a clean Q-Tip on outside and lid edge. Problem went away after several days. Only frustration was doctor did not say how long to use the ointment and on-line info and prescription info from pharmacist did not specify how many days to use.
