My husband started taking this medication because he's getting up in age and wanted to build more muscle mass. I noticed an overabundance of perspiration almost immediately and a weird sour fruit smell that persisted. One of my patients is using this drug to help in wound healind for a stage iv sacral wound. She sustained this after suffering spinal infarct during a CABG. She is paralized from the waist down. Her wound had not been improving for many months until she started this medication.
