I have had crazy conversations with people, hallucinations, sleep walked, sleep eaten, and sleep driven using this medication. I remembered none of it. Woke up once in the middle of the night in front of Walmart with a bag of stuff I did not remember driving there. Dizziness was also a problem. I do not recommend this medication for anyone Bi-Polar.

Zolpidem 12.5mg is the best thing since sliced bread! I started taking Ambien 5mg several years ago, then went up to 10 mg. Next, I went up to Zolpidem 6.25 mg two times per night, as I would take it at bedtime and when I woke up to use the bathroom. Due to the increasing cost of prescription drugs, I have now switched to Zolpidem 12.5 mg and take it at bedtime. I sleep through the night but w ... Show Full Comment

Been taking this medication for about three years and it puts me to sleep within 30 minutes and I wake up fully refreshed. There are no side effects, no dragging and fully alert when I get up in the morning. On days that I have to get up early, I just go to bed earlier and still awake refreshed. My insurance company doesn't cover it anymore but the cost retail wise is relevantly cost effect ... Show Full Comment

(6.5 mg)First dose I woke up at 7am convinced it was 7pm and my poor husband must be faint from hunger, so I made a pizza from scratch. Second day, I fainted in the bathroom and face planted into the bath tub wall. My face was solid black from hairline to below my cheekbone and the area around my eyebrow was so swollen the skin split. My husband takes 10 mg of the same stuff and has no problems so ... I've been taking this drug for years I started on 10mg and now I take 5mg because my doctor wants me to stop taking it. I feel great on it and I get a good nights sleep. All the crazy things they say can happen does not happen to me. I also have Gerd and sleep apnea. I guess I don't understand why my doctor wants me to stop but he said it's a narcotic and addicting.
