    I went in for a throat scope and my bp went high so they gave me this stuff in my i.v., then when it didn't come down enough, they gave it to me again. I had a 15 min. proce4dure and by the time I was in recovery I was already sick, nauseaous, face, hands and feet were starting to swell. They still sent me home and I thought I was going to die!!     Have been given this drug through IV on four separate occasions and each time it's sucked for me big time. The first time I was having an emergency cesarean and while waiting my BP was out of control, after this drug was administered to me I had the worst migraine ive ever had and needed an epidural just to help with the pain.     I was given hydralazine while in the hospital which my blood presure kept raising after given this inj though my iv my blood presure shot up to 200 my heart felt like it was going to jump out and i had the shakes.I have never had a reaction to any tpye of medicine

    After a minor finger surgery I was taken to the recovery room. I have high blood pressure for which I take Diovan 320. Even though my blood pressure was similar in the RR as when I checked in, the nurse decided it was too high and administered Hydralazine INJ. My bllod pressure shot up to 200/100.     My Dad, who's 78, was given this in the hospital. He pressure drop severly and he broke out in hives and a fever. He was so hot, he said, it felt like he was burning from the inside out. Later, that night his was found on the floor by the nurses and thought his was home.
