I am on day 2 of this medication as prescribed to bronchitis. The metallic taste is pretty bad. I have yet to notice a significant change in my symptoms. My cough is wetter sounding and maybe that is what is supposed to happen. But, I still have the gurgling sound in my breathing. I am on 1000mg twice daily for 5 days, then 500mg for 5 days. eye sight changed after about 10 pills of 500 mg. Got worse, cant see out of my glasses Taking because of asthma changes. Joints are hurting. Rather have an old drug for antibiotic.

I'm writing this at 3:00 AM because of insomnia, which among other side effects started after taking dose 3. I as well have the terrible taste in my mouth, most severe during the night. Tastes bitter, like bile. I normally eat about 3 small meals and 3 snacks throughout the day, so the eating may be helping with the taste during the day.
