I have Chronic Pain Syndrome due to failed lumbar fusions and have a pain pump to dispense most into the intrathecal areas of my lumbar spine. My pain pump ran out3 weeks ago which threw me into withdrawal and, needless to say, the last 3 weeks have been absolutely terrible. If anyone has a pump, make sure you don't run out as, from what I've been told, dilaudid is 10 times stronger than

I was prescribed dilaudid 10 yrs ago for chronic pain due to a split pelvis, hip dysplasia and kidney disease as it was the only pain killer that was safe for my kidney. Since then I have had a pelvic kidney removed and my hips and pelvis have only gotten worse. had lower part of my left lung removed due to cancer. The pain of the nerves that were cut and trying to take a deep breath was very painful the hydromorphone has taken care of the pain and can I thank God for it.I have had no side effects from it at all and it takes care of the pain.

I have pulmonary sarcoidosis, and as a result I frequently suffer from pleurisy; which is inflammation of the pleura (the lining of the lungs). I have severe diabetic neuropathy in my feet. If it weren't for this medicine, I would not be able too walk or live a somewhat normal life. This drug understanding it's addictive ways, I couldn't imagine life without it.
