I woke up with Pink Eye Saturday morning. I was prescribed the medicine that afternoon. By Sunday the green mucus was gone, my eyes stopped itching and the redness began clearing. I read the reviews and everyone is different. The medicine was very quick and effective for me. There was no burning, swelling or adverse effects at all. Will use again for pink eye.

The pink eye infection began to clear even after the first dose. However, 24 hours after the final treatment symptoms returned and the treatment had to be repeated. The drug can enter your sinuses and throat through your eyes, and it leaves a terrible taste in your mouth. Also, Cipro is well known to cause weakness in the ligaments. We did not know this, and now there is a sprained ankle to treat. ... Show Full Comment

I had horrible pink eye with discharge, swelling, blurred vision, and couldn't open my eye after sleeping. Visually improved each day I used this, though I did feel like something was in my eye for an hour after use, much better than not being able to open my eye. Very effective for me.

Started this medication two days ago for Pink eye with my sinus infection. It immediately began to burn, itch and turn the eyes more red than they were the day before. Used it a few more times and then gave it up. very ineffective and had to miss another morning of work because it didn't work on the pink eye at all.

I knew ahead of time that I was not allergic to the Cipro drug family. I am in Peru and didn't have the regular choices at the pharmacy I would if I were at home. Yes it will drain your sinus, especially if your bacterial pink eye is from a respitory or sinus infection. For me it was a "two-fer" to clear my sinus.
