My cholesterol levels are now at satidfactory levels. However, the muscle aches in my legs, groins and shoulders are not worth it. I am 58 and walk around like a 80 year old. I am stopping this drug and going to the gym to lose 25 pounds. BTW, had the same effects with Zetia, Zorcor and Lipitor! Everyone is different--but these cholesterol lowering drugs are not for me.

I've been on vytorin about 4 yrs. Nothing lowered it befoe vytorin. I heard a news story that the zetia in it could cause memory loss. Has anyone else heard that news report. I can't remember what news station we had on at the time. My numbers are great but my memory not so good

    Comment:
I have been taking vytorin for about two years and dropped my cholesteral from 309 to 172 in the first three months. I then cut back to half a pill and now I am at 177. The only bad effects I have had was when I ran out of vytorin for three weeks and my blood pressure went sky high. After two weeks of taking vytorin again my blood pressure was normal again.
