    I am 60 years old. I have been taking Vytorin for more than 10 years and worked. Sometimes I had stopped it by intervals of one month now and then taking it back, so I am very positive about the side effects this have caused to me: Brain feel likeb locked itself,unable to think properly,confussion,feeling depressed.As I start taking the tablet as a week later HIT the side effects again!!!!What sh ...     my dr. put me on simivistatin alone. My triclcerides went way high. I ask to be put back on vytorin within 6 mos my cholesterol was back with in normal range.I might add I have been on vytorin for about 15 yrs with no ill effects.

    I was on Vytorin 10/20 for about 7 years. I had a stent placed in my LAD about 6 years ago. The Vytorin got me down from a total cholesterol of aroudn 240 and kept me in the 120's. All of the other numbers were great. The two arteries that were about 40% blocked 6 years ago became 75% and 100% blocked and I had to have more stents.
