    Been taking VYTORIN FOR A YEAR LEVELS HAVE CAME DOWN BUT NOW EXPERIENCING SEVERE PAIN IN HIP AND SHOULDER JUST CAME ON SUDDENLY WENT FOR XRAYS DR COULDNT FIND ANYTHING .IM TAKING MYSELF OFF THIS MEDS NOT WORTH THE PAIN

    I have taken this drug for six years with no side effects. It has done a great job of lowering my cholesterol fron 225 to 98 (total cholesterol). My HDL is 62 LDL 36. I am totally satisfied with Vytorin.

    I have been on Vytorin 10/40 2/3years now. It has worked very well for me lowering my LDL to below 70. However the last few weeks I have been fatigued more than normal a week ago statred to have knee problem, which was getting worst and pain radiated up leg to hip.     I've been using vytorin 10-80 more than 2 years I feel OK. my shouldier pain bothering me for long time and it still bothers me. I think taking high dosage may have have shomething to do with it.

    The medicine has been extremely effective for me. The only issue is that Anthem Blue Shield will not pay.
