When taken before bedtime a definate increase in nightime testosterone is observed. I have eliminated other factors and find that morning erectile function is greatly increased. Upon waking, very firm erections are present when I take before sleep. This had ceased to be the case prior to starting use. a male, age 78, with mid stage Alzheimer's, was having occational mood swings with violent episodes. after taking Acetyl L-Carnitine 400 mg for two weeks, noticed dramatic improvement in patient moods, memmory and violent episodes stopped. note: patient was on Aricept and Namenda.
