Had flu-like symptoms for 8 days. On a follow-up appointment to my doc she suggested an OTC expectorant to help get the last bits of crud out of my chest. Took first pill at 6pm on Tuesday. Came into work on Wednesday and took my next pill at 6am. I was walking back my office from a meeting when I felt what I thought was gas. It quickly turned into an overwhelming pressure that I could barely hold ... Show Full Comment

The bottom line is within 4 hours ... Show Full Comment

Since I had not eaten anything unusual , I called the pharmacist and she said to stop taking the Mucinex. The diarrhea stopped after 24 hr of no Mucinex DM. I had been drin ... Show Full Comment
