Had flu-like symptoms for 8 days. On a follow-up appointment to my doc she suggested an OTC expectorant to help get the last bits of crud out of my chest. Took first pill at 6pm on Tuesday. Came into work on Wednesday and took my next pill at 6am. I was walking back my office from a meeting when I felt what I thought was gas. I have had a hacking cough from a cold. To loosen the mucus and reduce my cough, I decided to try Mucinex DM for the first time. I always read the warnings on my pill bottles. No side effects were mentioned. I rarely take pills, unless I really need them. When I took the Mucinex DM, I made sure not to take any of my other cold meds- Tylenol, not even Flonase. I had a sinus, ear, and upper respiratory infection and on an antibiotic. I was still not getting relief. I took one dose of mucinex and I felt so much better. Took my cough away.

Bronchitis - I have tried two other over the counter medications to clear my bronchitis symtoms. I took one Mucinex DM at 7PM and I was able to fall asleep without coughing. I have been so sick for 10 days and after taking Mucinex DM, I feel AMAZING! I can breathe without coughing. I am alert and not drowzy. I would recommend this product to anyone with Bronchitis. I thank God my sweet husban

Had a tight cough from bronchitis. Since I did not have a fever, I spoke with the pharmacist and she recommended this. It worked fine for the cough but after the 2nd day of every 12 hr tabs, I began having horrible diarrhea. Since I had not eaten anything unusual , I called the pharmacist and she said to stop taking the Mucinex. The diarrhea stopped after 24 hr of no Mucinex DM. I had been drin
