The only heartburn medicine that ALWAYS works, almost instantly. It is expensive. I use it before going to sleep or if I awake with that nasty taste of acid coming up into the back of throat. This is best GERD medicine of all!

I, too, have tried many of the products out there and when I was diagnosed with Barretts Esophagus, which is 1 step before Esophagial cancer, I was given Zegrid. I was told I would be taking this for the rest of my life to prevent the full onset of cancer, so it is nice to know that there is something out here that works. Works as well as Previsaid. Doctor instructed me to take beano and gas-x together to get over the gas attacks.
