I was taking Lexapro for the last year and a half and over the last month my family and friends were begging me to go to my dr. the lexapro had stopped working for me. i have manic episodes and swing into a sadness (NOT suicidal). mostly manic phases and LOTS of anxiety. so i went and she put me on lamictal. i've been on it for 3 days and i'm still "high as a kite" flying around

I immediately began to feel better...the next morning after taking it. I did take it at night and had to take it with food to avoid nausea, overall a great experience

The meds have helped me with alot fewer manic phases and hostility.made myself more stable. But the pills taste really bad wish they could put a coating over the pill

ive only been on this med for 3wks....wondering if weight loss is an issue. i still feel very depressed and more so an inability to function doing anything.
