Since this drug is quite expensive, I am going to finish the 30 pills bottle that I paid for ($187.70), then I will ask my doctor to switch something else for me. I couldn't stand the side effects especially the rash and joint pain.

Has helped to lower my cholesterol and triglyceride levels to acceptable ranges, with excercize being a crucial component to the regimen. I probably don't watch my diet as much as I should.

Have been on Antara for 18 months and this is the first drug that really has helped me. The only negative is the price, $50 with insurance. Will be looking for an alternate really soon.
