I just started with this medicine 7/2/16. I have flu type symptoms, I feel arms and legs are rubber and very tired. I was on Fosamax and crippled me So was trying this now and WELL????? I need a Nap....so Tired...

I was switched to ibandronate when I had too many side effects for the alendronate (generic for Foximax). I had minimal side effect from the ibandronate (experienced hip/ joint pain initially, but was short-lived). I was definitely satisfied using it for several months until my insurance no longer covered it. Then there were no medications I could take. I've just been taking 1200 mg calcium 10

Waiting for a test this coming year. 2 years before testing. Really have no idea the effectiveness until the test will be done the beginning of this coming year.

I find that I develope a red rash, especially behind my knees and along my inner thighs. I have the rash on my calves and outher thighs also but doesn't seen as much. This rash does not itch but looks very bad. It usually disappears a few days after I take the medicaion. This is a real concern to me so have considered discontinuing this medication.
