I have had colitis for 40 years. It got much worse after radiation for uterine cancer. Diarrhea at least 30 times in a 24 hr period.I have been taking this drug for almost 10 years. I tried everything before my doctor tried this one. Finally I have relief. Diarrhea still breaks thru every couple of months for days then I get it back under control. I was always dehydrated(feels like the flu) with muscle pain and fever. Tincture of Opium .06ml 4x a day is a mira

My excessive diarrhea resulted from surgery to remove part of small intestines. Surgeons did not give me anything to help my situation. My primary physician prescribed Opium Tincture which helped my problem considerably.
