    This medicine does work to loosen up mucus, if you can get past the smell and like another reviewer stated, I too have to drink it with soda real fast. It stinks and tastes terrible! But it works and thats what matters.

    it definitely dries you out, but I would not reccomend taking it at night. As soon as I started to fall asleep I'd start coughing. Though coughing wasn't very frequent.Deffinitely a daytime med. Also interesting note, max strength is the same dose in mg's as regular, except you are taking one pill versus two. If you read the doasage it's equal. You are better off buying max, you ge ...     I got nauseated almost immediately. It cleared up my runny nose but it kept me awake all night.

    It did what it was supposed to. the only problem was that it makes my nose so dry that I get constant nose bleeds that last for 30 minutes or longer.

    This is the only medication that works on my sinuses and prevents a cold from turning into an infection. However, I usually need melatonin if I take the recommended 2 in am and 2 in pm. Generally I take 2 in the am and that's it. Because the pills smell and taste so repugnant I have to pop them with soda so I can't taste them.
