Tacrolimus/Mobocertinib Interactions

How the interaction occurs:

Mobocertinib may decrease the amount of tacrolimus in your blood by speeding up how quickly your liver processes the medicine.Mobocertinib and tacrolimus can both affect your heart's rhythm.

What might happen:

The blood levels of your tacrolimus may decrease, and it may not work as expected.Taking mobocertinib with other agents that can affect your heart rhythm may increase your risk of irregular heartbeat, which may be life-threatening.

What you should do about this interaction:

Let your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) know that you are taking these medicines together. Let your doctor know right away if you notice an irregular heartbeat, dizziness, fainting episodes.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Keep all of your appointments with the doctor and laboratory. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
