Does not reduce frequency, or intensity, of migraines. Does not lower blood pressure. Migraine frequency, and blood pressure, are both increased. Extreme fatigue and lethargy. I can not get things done, that are imperative to accomplish. Extreme itchiness for first several months. Joint aches. Blurry vision. Propranolol does not work for me, and the side effects are intolerable.

Unacceptable side effects included extreme fatigue and confusion on only 20 mg/day. I could not drive safely. I spent all my time looking for lost items such as agenda, keys, phone, mind, sense of self. Also joint pain, depression. I prefer to treat migraines as they occur with triptan drugs rather than have these side effects 24/7.

I appreciate the reviews. DO NOT STOP TAKING IT COLD TURKEY. IF YOU GO OFF IT, WEAN YOURSELF OFF GRADUALLY. I've only been on it 3 days, starting w/ 20 mg/day. Makes me sleepy with frightening short

After trying Neurontin and Topamax with too many side effects, my doctor suggested Inderal/propranolol. This has been the most effective medication to prevent migraines. I have gone as long as 5 months without a headache ! For some reason, I have had migraines lasting 2 days to get better than worse a few times last month and the month before. Other than that, my life has changed since taking this
