I am not impressed. I was given the 50mg Rx. I take it and nothing happens. Tonight, I thought I would take 2 (two) to see if it works. That was an hour ago and here I am typing away my comments. I had been taking Ambien but this is a new dr. He didn't wasn't comfortable allowing me to continue on Ambien. I'm not comfortable not getting to sleep. No winners here.

My new Dr. switched me off of Valium to Trazodone on my first visit with her. I used Valium to help me sleep, also because I have anxiety attacks. I took the Trazodone last night, and it did nothing to help me sleep. It actually made my heart start pounding, like a panic attack. I was restless and agitated for two hours, and finally took a benzodiazepine and fell asleep. This morning I woke up, so ... Show Full Comment

I have been taking this medication for30 plus years. I started out with a low dose, but over the years it has been increased. I have been taking 300 mg for many years now, and it still works great! I highly recommend it to anyone who has trouble sleeping.

    Comment:
This medication is great. I have spent the past 30 years never getting a restful sleep. Many night spending hours just getting to sleep. Now I know what it's like to have a restful sleep all night, every night. Doesn't leave you groggy in the morning at all.
