VERY GOOD DRUG FOR A NUMBER OF THINGS...HYPERTENSION,OPIATE WITHDRAWL,MILD PAIN,MILD INSOMNIA, I TAKE FOR HYPERTENSION AND OPIOD AND BENZODIAZIPINE WITHDRAWL. PRETTY MUCH A LIFE SAVER DRUG! I TAKE 0.2 TWICE A DAY.

I have bad side effects with this medication. I have to take laxatives nearly every night just to go to the bathroom. Mouth is dry, eyes are dry, I take eye drops for dry eyes., vision get blurry. Told this to my Doctor, was told to take stool softner. I think I should be taken off this medication.

This medicine has helped in reducing my HBP to around the 140/90 range and so rated it as only 3 stars is this is still not normal. I also get frightening palpitations at night when I lay down. Dry mouth also but overall better reading than before. I used to take lopressor but that stopped working after a while. Norvasc along with clonidine did not help at all so I am taking clonidine alone wit
