I have many allergies and hypersensitivities. Milk products among them. Before prescribed this med., I was experiencing yeast infection due to steroid use for eczema of the scalp. I myself don't take the drug, but my 5 years old twins do and fo them Lactulose has been very effective. They have a bowel movement at least once to twice daily. And the bowel is not hard or mushy. I would recommend that people ask their doctor's about this for their bowel problems.
