I have been taking Levbid (Hyoscamine Sulfate) for many years. My pharmacy tells me it has been pulled from the market, but I am still able to buy Hyomax from another pharmacy, but insurance no longer covers it. Is there a substitute for this drug that is covered by most health insurance companies?

I had a problem for years and then my doctor said it was iritable bowel. This medicine worked great. I had taken it for about 4 years and I was told by Walmart Pharmacy that it no longer existed. It was $5.50 for 60 pills. Now I have to take HYOMAX-SR 0.375 WHICH IS $70.00 FOR 60 PILLS. NO GENERICS.

This drug did not stop the intestinal cramping. I took this for five days and on the second day, I was seeing black spots shooting around in front of me and a flash of light in my left eye. I quit taking this medication but the eye problems still exist. I also experience blurred vision, dry mouth & nose, dry skin, dizziness, drowsy, migrain (which I have never had previously)and constipation (
