I had the paragard inserted dec, 2012 after having baby number 3. For the last 2 months my periods have been late and short. Doc keeps saying its normal. I am 27, have never had children or been pregnant and have had my paragard for 4 months now. I took 2 ibprofen before insertion and while it was painful, the worst of the pain lasted for less than 10 seconds.
