    Had my third child june 10th then I had this product inserted july 10th, 2013. Was an easy process, a little uncomfortable (dr had to scrub stuff out first) i did cramp alot afterward but it was manageable... I am new to this form of BC. i have always taken the pill which has failed me everytime... (on yaz got pregnant with my 1st, Rx changed pills 4 months after my 1st child by time she was 6 mon ...     I'm going to make this as concise as possible. I've never had kids, 35 years old. I took a handful of ibuprophen and a zanax the day of the insertion and I must say-even still, the insertion was probably one of the most painful experiences of my life.     I have had the paraguard for 1 yr 5 months. I have been meaning to write a review to let others know how my experience was. First, I am a big chicken and was a big nervous of the insertion process. They gave me valium but I was still a bit tense. Anyway, I made it through and I think it was more built up in my mind.     I got the Paragard inserted January 2012 (so had it for a little over a year and a half) and just had it taken out this morning. I've never had children, so it was pretty painful to be inserted and the first couple days of having it were difficult, but taking out took under a min and was pretty easy.     I had my iud placed in march I had very heavy bleeding and horible cramps ... I took my doc more than an hour to place it... Well I'm really upset because I just found out I'm 6 weeks pregnant ... I notice a week ago after my husband complained of feeling the iud different than normal...
