Had ulcers from NSAID reaction from 2004. Ever since then had constipation and diarrhea at the same time. This relieves the constipation which was the main concern. The only thing that has helped at all.

This medication has worked like a charm for me, however I do get extremely dry mouth, nose, eyes, etc. I just had an aha moment this morning and realized that I am having some of the "severe" side affects. i am only 17 yrs old. diagnosed with IBS about a week ago. this medicine has not done a think for me. i haven't been able to eat for 4 days now. i have tried everything. This medicine does help decrease the abdominal pain though.
