I was very excited when I started taking Keppra because it meant no more blood tests after years of getting tested at least once a year while on Tegretol. Unfortunately, that was the ONLY good thing about it as Keppra actually made me have seizures at least twice a week and Tegretol let me go almost a month without any. I used to have multiple seizures a month. The addition of Keppra has decreased the frequency to a few times a year.

MY FOUR YR OLD DAUGHTER HAS TAKEN KEPPRA FOR THE LAST 10 MONTHS AND THE ONLY SIDE EFFECT I HAVE SEEN IS SEVER MOOD SWINGS.

I really can not comment to much on this drug, but what i do know is that my son had a seizure in april of 07 and one in dec. of 07. He was given htis drug the second go-round. I have noticed that he seems to not remember alot and for the very first time he did not obey staff at his school and kind of being "snippy" towards me, this is not like my "A" student. What is going on.
