I have been on Cardizem for about 2months for high BP, fast heart rate and palpations. I haven't noticed a big difference at all my BP is still 140/90 to 145/100. Still having palpations too. My doctor also prescribed me Metoprolol. I have heard I should not take a calcium channel blocker with a beta blocker but my doctor says it is ok...still no decrease in symptoms.
