My daughter hates the taste of it. It is very bitter, I put just a dab on my tounge to test it, and she was right. It leaves a very bitter taste that does not go away right away. For the coughing...she somewhat got better. The coughing never did stop. She still had the cough after 4 days of using it. But it did get better.
