    I am 65 yrs old, have had chronic A-Fib for 30 yrs and was on warfarin. Kept having three+ hour nosebleeds. Was switched to Xeralto just over a year ago and have not had any bleeding problems whatsoever. Have not experienced any bad side effects and I am on a program where I pay only $10/month for the drug. And I like the fact I can eat all the green salads and veggies I want which you can' ...     My father was on this medication for two weeks, we were really excited to leave Warfin and its frequent medical check ups behind. One morning he woke up with hives, swollen eyes and his throat was getting swollen as well. We called a nurse and she advice to take him to the ER for an allergic reaction.
