I've been on almost every long-acting painkiller on the market and this is one of the best ones I've been on. It's worked well at the same dose for years, unlike almost every med I've been on. The side effects are also not nearly as bad as others. Overall, a good one to try, but be forewarned, insurance companies don't like paying for it and will frequently deny coverage for it

I have been diagnosed with undifferentiated spondyloarthropathy, which is a form of spondylitis. The result is chronic pain that must be managed. My mother only takes this at night (200mg) but for the most part is sleeping though the night for the first time in a long, long time. She still takes Oxycodone 10mg x 4 through out the day. But I have to say as her caregiver I am relieved to have something that lasts through the night.

The Extended Release formula of this drug is not all effective for me after 4.5 to 6 hours. After taking it for two weeks I am not impressed at all and at 100 mg. I still need Norco along side it. I have been on Tramadol for many years but with diminishing effectiveness so I understand trying another drug but this is ridiculous. Before this change came along, I actually had a few "good"
