I was prescribed this by my Pain Management Doctor due to severe opioid induced constipation. I am 6'3" 245 lbs and this one little pill I felt in twenty minutes. After another 20 minutes I felt massive cramping and barely made it to the bathroom. I have never had anything work that fast ever! I have a spinal cord injury and have to takes opioids daily. My PM DOC presribed this med for me and at first it didn't work, I was taking it wrong. I learned that if you take as soon you get in the morning on an empty stomach you will see the effects within an hour. Still on the fence because if you miss a dose you end up backed up again, then I hold my pain meds and the pain increases so it&

I took this medication one time. I got severe stomach pain and explosive diarrhea and severe cold sweats. I felt so bad for most of the day the only time I got out of bed was to run to the bathroom. I hope it works for others but I will never take it again.

I'm disappointed, I was so hoping this RX would help my OIC. Hopefully Movantik will work for others. I have a spinal cord injury,so I'll probably be on pain meds for the rest of my life, which means I'll be taking laxatives for the rest of my life.
