I get satisfactory results with 1/3 to 1/2 normal dosage. Much better than fiber or veg laxatives.

This medication has made me seriously ill. I did not realize at first it was the laxative. AFter taking it I would bloat up and get a bad headache. Then I would break out in horrible sweats, experience extreme lower back and leg pain. My daughter 8 - has dealt with chronic constipation - to the point that she felt nauseas every time we had a meal. WE did a clean out as the doctor prescribed and it wroked. She feels so much better. Now just take it once a week to keep things moving. (As for previous commenter - talk to doctor about mineral oil. Little ones can hold it in because it hurts to go. Mineral oil is not abosorbed
