I have been on Actos for 30 days, it is effective and happy now that my sugars are where they should be, BUT I have edema already with light swelling and with Actos the swelling has increased....I need to see my doctor soon.

Like the other post I'm on 5 meds for type 2 so I don't know which one is the culprit. But I'm always tired. I've gained about 20 pounds and don't have energy for anything. I'd rather take my chances with the hign blood sugar. This isn't living.

This drug caused me to swell up both feet and addominal pain and bloated feeling to the point had to go ER where they told me to quit taking this Drug.... I was on it about 35 days,....

My husband already takes actos... Why did they add this if it is the same thing? Should I be giving him both of them at the same time?
