I was prescribed Elavil for Fibromyalgia. I started at 10mg - it worked a few days then stopped - the pain and insomia returned. My dosage was increased every couple of weeks because it would work a few days to a week then stop. I stopped taking it after the 75 mg dosage stopped working.

I was prescribed this medication for sleep by my Neurologist. It has worked wonderfully for me. I was prescribed a very high dose due to 12 back surguries and pain waking me up in the middle of the night. I take 150 mg. along with nerve medication and I have had no problems at all. I would highly reccomend this drug to anyone for sleep disorders.

I can't believe it worked because I was very skeptical
