Im 22 yrs old and have been on this medication for a yr. It was easy to use and effective for it's purpose but I am now getting off of it because of bone loss and menopause symptoms. Way too young for that. I would not recommend this for a birth control.

I have been using Depo-Provera for many years now and all is well. I have gained a few pounds but having NO period for me is great. I would highly recommend this drug to any woman. I get my injections in my butt area and does not hurt a bit.
