    I was diagnosed with Pseudotumor Cererbi in Nov 2009. I went to the eye DR for a flashing in my left eye and went from there. My eye test at that time was great 20/20 so no vision issues at that time. I went to see the neuro opthamologist and he did few test including a field vision test and my vision was fine but the fluid was bad in the left eye(flashing eye) and moderate in the right. In D ...     I have been taking Diamox for a month now, and my headaches are all gone. At first I did have tingling in fingers and toes, but that went away. I am taking the long lasting capusal 500gm 2x a day, and at first it was hard for me to rememeber to take them, but I just set my alarm clock for the times I need to take them. I am peeing more, and I do have cotton mouth, but it is helping me lose weight ... Show Full Comment

    I have been on the Diamox for about a month now, I am taking 250mg 3x a day. So far the medication has worked for me. I still get the occasional headache here and there, but so far they are manageable. The only side effects I have had are loss of appetite, tingling in my fingers and toes, and I cannot drink ANY carbonated beverage, they taste awful.     I was on this medication when i was first diagnosed. It was not effective, I was losing my vision and I ended up getting a shunt. I had my first shunt put in 2 yrs ago that shunt malfunctioned so I got another one and now the second shunt which was installed over a year ago doesnt seem to be working completely because i recently began getting the horrible headaches again where I think my head is g ...
